To Promote and Commend
the Synod’s Digital and Online Resources
RESOLUTION 1-08A
Overture 1-14 (CW, 263)
WHEREAS, The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod
(LCMS) and its entities have many wonderful online/digital
resources for individual, group, and congregational study; and
WHEREAS, Many of these resources, including resources in
multiple languages, can be found at Lutheran Hour Ministries
(lhm.org), LCMS School Ministry (LuthEd.org), LCMS Youth
Ministry (YouthESource.com), Concordia Publishing House
Faith Courses (cph.org/faithcourses) and the Office of National
Mission (makingdisciples.lcms.org); and
WHEREAS, Many of these resources have options to
request a resource or topic; and
WHEREAS, Many of these resources have options to submit
resources (including online videos, podcasts, etc.) or topics;
and
WHEREAS, Makingdisciples.lcms.org provides doctrinal
review for submitted resources; therefore be it
Resolved, That the Synod in convention commend these
resources to districts, congregations, church workers, and lay
people for use; and be it further
Resolved, That we give thanks to God for the many ways
that His Word continues to be spread.
Action: Adopted (3)
