RESOLUTION B Rationale Over the years the Synod in convention has spoken to many issues. At times it has found it necessary to restate its position because of misunderstanding or because there was an expressed desire to change the stated position of the Synod. It is clearly not physically possible to debate and discuss, in detail, every issue which has been decided in one or more previous conventions of the Synod. Again at this convention a number of issues have been presented through overtures to which the Synod, in convention, has previously spoken. After careful consideration of these matters, there appears to be no valid reason to change or alter the stated position of the Synod. Resolved, That petitioners offering the following overtures be referred to previous convention action as indicated: Ov. 6-23 Ov. 6-36 Wichita, 1989, Res. 7-12 Pittsburgh, 1992, Res. 7-02 St. Louis, 1995, Res. 6-04A Wichita, 1989, Res. 7-12 Pittsburgh, 1992, Res. 7-02 St. Louis, 1995, Res. 6-04A Pittsburgh, 1992, Res. 7-07A St. Louis, 1995, Res. 3-15 St. Louis, 1995, Res. 6-07A Pittsburgh, 1992, Res.
