Operating and/or Capital Expenditures For Proposed Convention Resolutions Dallas Convention Bylaw 1.27 h (Handbook, p. 32) provides that Floor Committee 13 shall attach to resolutions presented to the convention information on estimated cost on an annual basis or on a project basis, as the case may be. Rather than submitting the estimated cost of each resolution on a piecemeal basis, the committee herewith submits a composite table of the cost of various projects and programs included in resolutions to be submitted to the convention. The following table includes funds in proposed operating budgets, increases in operating budgets if proposed resolutions are adopted, and synodical capital outlays required in addition to budgeted items if proposed resolutions are adopted. Cost Reduction Ne - The 1962 Cleveland convention authorized $6,850,000 for the construction of Christ College Irvine, plus the costs of a suitable site and faculty housing. To date $1,048,000 of synodical funds has been applied toward the cost of the first building. Additional buildings requiring $1,875,000 of synodical funds are planned for the years 1977-81. No detailed estimates are available for future construction for a 4-year institution; however, estimates range from $5,000,000 to $15,000,000 at today's costs with funds to be provided from both the Synod and local sources. $750,000 125th Ann.
