To this end, it urgently seeks the help of almighty God and His church to enlist more students and develop more resources to insure a continuing professional ministry which bears with all of God’s people the gift of the ‘ministry of reconciliation.” CAPITAL FUNDS PROJECTS The synodical Handbook (6.147) provides: In the month of January preceding each synodical con- vention the Board of Control shall, on the basis of com- prehensive space-utilization data and a program of require- ments, submit to the Board for Higher Education proposals for major repairs, capital improvements, and equipment for the succeeding 6-year period. These proposals shall include a suggested priority listing and time schedule for construction. After due consideration of the proposals and after consultation with the Board of Directors the Board for Higher Education shall submit the proposals with its recom- mendations to the President of the Synod for action at the convention. In accordance a listing of requests for capital funds for the 1970—75 period is provided. These requests are reproduced as they have come from the colleges and seminaries. The request list has not been revised by the Board for Higher Education. As capital funds become available, the Board for Higher Education recommends that the projects marked with an asterisk (*) be considered on a priority basis.
