To Consider Membership in LWF

WHEREAS, The Commission on Theology and Church
Relations has recommended that the Synod consider
applying for membership in the Lutheran World Fed-
eration; and

Wuereas, The Synod's experiences in cooperative
efforts with the Lutheran World Federation have been
favorable; and

Wuereas, Our shrinking, troubled world would be
more effectively served by a coordinated Lutheran ap-
proach; therefore be it

Resolved, That the Synod at this convention favor-
ably consider membership in the Lutheran World Fed-
