Studies in the Theology of Fellowship RESOLUTION 4, COMMITTEE 3 Memorial 628, page 530, Reports and Memorials WHEREAS, Synod at its 1956 convention requested its joint theo- logical faculties to furnish comprehensive studies on fellowship, prayer fellowship, and unionism, and to make them available to β€˜the members of Synod at least one year prior to this (1959) con- vention; and Wuereas, Only the first section of these studies has been com- pleted as of now; and Wuereas, This failure to carry out the request of Synod in the time allotted is to be regretted, particularly because of the immediate urgency of a clear and unequivocal statement on the matters assigned; and Wuereas, It is of utmost importance that these studies be completed and made available to the members of Synod at the earliest possible time; therefore be it Resolved, That the Praesidium of Synod encourage early com- pletion of these studies by authorizing, through the proper channels, any necessary adjustments in the teaching schedules of the mem- bers of the faculty committees charged with this work.
