Mass. This study was very helpful to the Board of Regents as they made plans for the future in these two vital areas of our seminary | i } ij ' program. They submitted some of the options for increase of ° library space and a media center to the Board of Directors of Synod and were told in response to conduct a thorough feasibility study, which study was prepared by Community Counselling Service Company Inc., the same concern which . made a feasibility study in advance of the Forward in Remem- brance program of the Synod. This study revealed the fact that the seminary could in fact mount a rather large campaign fora new library which would meet the demands of our increased student body and also for some very helpful space utilization changes within our present building complex. The study. however. cautioned against any campaign before all FIR funds had been collected by the Synod and suggested that a far more successful campaign could be mounted if combined with a similar campaign of our sister seminary in St. Louis. The Board of Regents has therefore postponed this matter until they can receive the full endorsement of the Board of Directors. Continuing Education Recognizing the tremendous potential and need for continu- ing education among the clergy of The Lutheran Church— Missouri Synod. the Board of Regents is sending tothe Svnoda memorial asking that both seminaries be allowed to increase their programs of continuing education by increasing faculty
