Publication of Salaries (Memorial 817) It is suggested that the following proposal be discussed and voted upon at the 1950 convention of our Synod: That the salaries our professors at our various institutions and other Synod officials receive be published in the Lutheran Witness annually. (The salaries paid them should be no secret and especially so when Synod’s budget is stressed so greatly and the members who support it are asked for higher needed budgets. If it is shown specifically where Synod’s money goes and why it is specifically needed here and there, it will help considerably in reaching the necessary goal.) A.¥ReD Oprrz, Pratt, Kans.
