416 YOUNG PEOPLE'S WORK

Wuereas, This demands the wholehearted co-operation of our
pastors and congregations and students; therefore be it
Resolved, That we encourage our pastors, congregations, and
students to lend their wholehearted co-operation in this matter ‘BY;
responding to the annual census conducted by the Student Servic

Commission. ;
Resolution 14

Wuersas, We are being blessed in Synod by an evergro i
number of college graduates who are professionals in the i
field; and

Wuereas, They are eager to use their talents in the servi
of their Savior and His Church; therefore be it

Resolved, That we encourage our congregations to make evé
attempt to welcome these graduates into their midst and give the
ample opportunity for service in thé Church.

Resolution 15

WHEREAS, Many of our young. people are a part of the. pre
trend of increased enrollment at the colleges and universities of o
country; and .

Wuerras, Not only we, but college authorities as well, reco;
nize the strong leaven of practical atheism existing on the camp
today; and A

Wuerras, The Student Service Commission endeavors to co
with this dual trend; therefore be it :

Resolved, That Synod direct the Board of Directors and -
Fiscal Conference to recognize the mounting needs and increased
opportunities of the Student Service Commission and make. adéé
quate financial provision, thus enabling the commission to expaiti
its program of Student Service.

Resolution 16

Wuereas, The annual Student Workers’ Conference, a confer,
ence of District co-ordinators of student work, and the plann

council of full-term student pastors has resulted in inte

student service and uniformity of practice and procedure; and
