mitted the following resolutions, which were adopted by Synod

Resolution 19

Wuereas, At the voluntary request of the Committee on.
riage, Divorce, Remarriage, and Related Subjects, appointed
the President of Synod, and the Committee on Marriage and:
Family of the Board for Parish Education, these two committe
were merged by the President of Synod to form the subcommi
of the Board for Parish Education, known as the Family
Committee; and
WHEREAS, This committee has embarked upon a program‘:
Planning and action in Christian family life education; be
therefore
Resolved, That this convention ratify the President’s actio
and encourage the committee to continue its work as a 5
committee of the Board for Parish Education’s adult educati
division,

Wuerras, The committee ‘calls Synod’s attention to the: con
tinuing danger besetting Christian young people in marriages wi
either avowed unbelievers or with members of such church bodie
as seek to bind consciences and even predetermine the Spiri
destiny of children yet unborn threugh one-sided commitments”
