Wuereas, The News Service of the Board for Parish Education
has rendered outstanding service to the Church in Promoting the
parochial school; and ;

Wuereas, The News Service at the end of 194
twenty-five years of service; and

WHerEas, Pastors, teachers and local Boards of Christian Edu-
cation need information and suggestions for all agencies of Chris~
tian education sponsored by them; and

Wuergas, There is at present no outlet for the work of the
other departments of Christian education; be it

Resolved,

1. That Synod express its appreciation for the service ren-
dered to our parochial schools through the News Service;

2. That beginning January 1, 1948, the News Service be ex-
